Professor Kevin AU graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a B.B.A. and earned his Ph.D. in management/ international business at the University of British Columbia. He co-founded the CUHK Center for Entrepreneurship and serves as its current Director. In 2015 he founded the CUHK Centre for Family Business and also serves as its current director.  His research interests are international management, entrepreneurship, family business, and social network. He has published academic articles, cases, and book chapters, and written several books such as <中小企業傳承與創新> (in Chinese) and “Family Enterprising in Asia: Exploring trans-generational entrepreneurship in family firms.”

Apart from serving academic community on the editorial boards of several journals, he has provided consulting and training for the government and business corporations, including business startups and family enterprises in Hong Kong. He also serves formerly or currently as directors to HK Business Angel Network, FFI, STEP, etc.  As to public services, he served as a member for the Social Innovation and Enterprise Development Fund, Enterprise Support Scheme, and the Small and Medium Enterprise Committees for the Hong Kong Government until 2022.

Kevin AU教授畢業於香港中文大學，獲得B.B.A.並在英屬哥倫比亞大學獲得管理/國際商務博士學位。2015年，他共同創辦了中大創業中心並擔任主任，亦出掌中大的家族企業研究中心。 他的研究興趣是國際管理，創業，家族企業和社交網絡。他發表了學術文章，案例和書籍章節，並撰寫了多本書籍，如<中小企業傳承與創新>（中文）和 “Family Enterprising in Asia: Exploring transgenerational entrepreneurship in family firms”。

 

除了在多個期刊的編輯委員會中為學術界服務外，他還為政府和商業公司提供了諮詢和培訓，其中包括香港的創業公司和家族企業。他亦曾任職或現任香港商業天使網絡 、FFI、STEP等董事。在公共服務方面，他擔任香港政府社會創新及企業發展基金、創新及科技基金 (企業支援計劃) 及中小型企業委員會成員。
